Product Overview
We supply fiber optic heat shrinkable tubes in large quantities and in various lengths, including 40mm, 45mm, and 60mm. These protection sleeves are designed for safeguarding and supporting fusion splice points. Description
Shrinkable sleeves are applied to optical fiber closures to fix and protect the optical fiber during splicing. The outer jacket is made of polyolefin, while the inner tube is made of EVA.
The sleeve can be divided into two types according to function: single type and mass type. The single type is used for single-fiber splicing, and the mass type is used for ribbon fiber. The reinforcement method differs between the two types — the single type uses stainless steel needles, while the mass type uses a ceramic reinforcement member.
"Mass" means there are several cores for the fiber. Mass sleeves are available in 4-core, 6-core, 8-core, and 12-core configurations.
