The KCO-V13-96-ZG is a dome-type (vertical) fiber optic splice closure designed for outdoor applications. It provides a secure, sealed environment for splicing, connecting, and storing optical fibers in both outside plant and indoor installations. The closure accommodates 24-core, 48-core, and 96-core configurations, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of fiber network deployments.

• Elastic rubber seal rings deliver excellent sealing and sweat-proof performance; the casing can be opened repeatedly without air leakage and requires no special tools.

1. Stretch: The sealed and inflated box body (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) withstands 1000 N axial tension for 1 minute with no change in air pressure.
2. Flattening: The sealed and inflated box body (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) bears a horizontal uniform pressure of 2000 N / 10 cm; the pipe withstands 600 N / 10 cm with no change in air pressure.
3. Impact: The sealed and inflated box body (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) is struck three times by a 1 kg steel ball dropped from 1.6 m; the box does not crack and pressure remains unchanged.
4. Voltage resistance: At a water depth of 1.5 m, soaked for 24 hours, withstands 15 kV DC for 1 minute without breakdown or arcing.
5. High-temperature test: The sealed and inflated box (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) at +60 °C for 2 hours shows no deformation and no leakage.
6. Low-temperature test: The sealed and inflated box (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) at -40 °C for 2 hours shows no deformation and no leakage.
7. Temperature cycle test: The sealed and inflated box (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) undergoes three cycles at -40 °C with 2 hours constant temperature at each point; pressure drop amplitude ≤ 5 kPa.
8. Bending: The sealed and inflated box (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) under a tension load of 150 N and bending angle of ±45° for 10 cycles shows no change in air pressure.
9. Reverse (torsion): The sealed and inflated box (60 kPa ± 5 kPa) under a torque of 50 N·m and torsion angle of +90° for 10 cycles shows no change in air pressure.
10. Sealing performance: At a gas pressure of 100 kPa ± 5 kPa, water bath soak for 15 minutes shows no bubbles escaping; no change after 24 hours under pressure.
11. Insulation resistance: At a water depth of 1.5 m, soaked for 24 hours, insulation resistance ≥ 2 × 10⁴ MΩ.
