The SC Fast Connector series are a proven solution for optical wiring in buildings and floors for LAN & CCTV applications. With the expansion of FTTH, it has become the connector of choice for incumbents, municipalities, utilities, and alternative carriers. The single-mode versions are available with UPC or APC ferrules.
The SC/UPC fast connector is the most popular type in the market, featuring a pre-polished ferrule that couples to the fiber being terminated by precision mechanical alignment, ensuring low loss with a proprietary gel. This connector offers convenience in assembly and strong stability, allowing simple optical core connection without additional practices or adhesives. It requires no working space and can be used in challenging environments like telephone poles and manholes. It reduces connection defects caused by installer errors and is widely used in Telecom FTTH.
