The MPO APC 24-fiber / 48-core G657A1 Elite Insertion Loss MTP Fiber Optic Trunk Patch Cable is engineered for rapid deployment of high-density backbone cabling in data centers and other high-fiber environments. It significantly reduces network installation and reconfiguration time and cost.

These MPO/MTP cable assemblies are used to interconnect cassettes, panels, or fan-outs. They are available in standard 8, 12, 24, or 48 core versions using a compact and rugged microcable structure. The compact cable optimizes cableway use and improves airflow.

Built with the highest quality components, low-loss Elite versions are offered, featuring low insertion loss for demanding high-speed networks where power budgets are critical. The MTP/MPO connector is approximately the same size as an SC connector but can accommodate 8, 12, 16, or 24 fibers, providing up to 8, 12, 16, or 24 times the density — offering savings in circuit card and rack space.

A simple push-pull latching mechanism ensures easy and intuitive insertion and removal.
