The double sheath ADSS water-proof aerial outdoor cable is a specialized all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cable featuring two independent protective sheath layers. It is designed for long-span overhead installation in high-voltage power transmission line environments.
This 500M span double sheath ADSS cable is a non-metallic aerial self-supporting outdoor fiber optic cable. It is specifically optimized for overhead deployment on 110kV–220kV high-voltage power lines, using ITU-T G.657A2 bend-insensitive single-mode fibers to deliver superior mechanical reliability and long-term transmission stability.
Double sheath ADSS cables typically scale from 2 fibers up to 288 fibers. The double-layer jacket design enhances overall protection and mechanical reliability.
The cable is available with a wide range of fiber types, including single mode fiber (SMF) 9/125 G.652D, G.657A1, and G.655, as well as multimode fiber (MMF) 62.5/125 OM1 and 50/125 OM2, OM3, OM4, and OM5.
Double sheath ADSS all-dielectric self-supporting fiber optic cables are typically engineered for spans ranging from 100 meters up to 1500 meters. The cable is fully compliant with AS/NZS S008, IEC 60794-3-20, and IEEE 1222 industry standards.
