The FC-FC OM5 Optic Fiber Patch Jumper Cord is a 100G Multimode 50/125 fiber with lime green PVC LSZH TPU jacket. The development of OM5 broadband multimode fiber represents a significant advancement for building and data center applications.

OM5 has been officially recognized in international standards (ISO/IEC 11801) as the new broadband multi-mode fiber standard. This fiber type extends the advantages of multimode fiber to efficient, interconnected buildings and data centers worldwide.

The TR-42.12 sub-committee has standardized lemon green as the sheath color for WBMMF (TIA-492AAAE, OM5). Additionally, the Short Wavelength Division Multisource Protocol Group (SWDM MSA) has defined optical specifications for 40Gb/s and 100Gb/s Ethernet transmission using duplex multimode fiber.
