The PM6800 intelligent optical fiber grinder is designed for processing optical fiber end faces of various fiber products including fiber connectors (jumpers, tail fibers, fast connectors), energy fiber, plastic fiber, and device embedded short cores. Widely used in the optical communication industry, this machine is typically combined with curing furnaces, end detectors, voltage testers, and other equipment to form complete production lines for manufacturing fiber optic jumpers, tail fibers, and passive devices.

Maintenance Procedures
  • Clean all abrasive pieces with water after each grinding session or when stopping for extended periods
  • Use high-quality abrasive pieces as service life varies by type and working procedure
  • Perform ultrasonic cleaning of the grinding disc at least once daily
  • Regularly check and lubricate transmission parts with Mobil NLGIZ grade grease
  • Monitor cooling fan operation and clean any fouling promptly
  • Regularly inspect and replace grinding grease under the chassis
  • Protect grinding chassis from contamination and impact
Equipment Care Guidelines
  • Daily cleaning of mats with clean paper towel covering to prevent dust contamination
  • Proper storage of unused abrasive pads in PE bags
  • For long-term storage:
    • Ultrasonic clean and coat grinding fixtures with protective oil
    • Seal grinder driving parts with protective oil layer
  • Monthly lubrication procedure:
    • Pry open turntable with screwdriver
    • Remove grinder rotary disc
    • Position disc gasket correctly
    • Add lubricating oil to chassis
    • Reinstall turntable
  • Biannual pressure spring replacement:
    • Loosen pressure fixing screws
    • Remove pressure spring with hexagonal plate hand
    • Install new spring
Safety Precautions
  • Never leave machine unattended during operation
  • Avoid subjecting grinder to unnecessary vibration or impact
  • Never operate controls with wet hands
  • Ensure correct power supply voltage and frequency
