Multimode OM3 Fiber Optical Coupler PLC Splitter
Product Description
The Multimode PLC Optical Coupler is available in 1×2, 1×4, and 1×8 configurations with SC, LC, FC, or ST connectors. This bi-directional coupling device can split or combine signals using 50/125μm or 62.5/125μm fiber with low insertion loss at 850nm operating wavelength.
The 1×8 coupler features a ruggedized black plastic housing with 1-meter long, 3mm PVC covered pigtails and FC/PC connectors. These MM graded index couplers provide excellent environmental and mechanical stability with options for 3mm cable jacket, 900µm loose tube jacket, or 250µm bare fiber.
As a passive optical device with multiple input/output terminals, it's ideal for PON applications (EPON, GPON, BPON, FTTX) connecting MDF to terminal equipment while branching optical signals. Our fiber optic splitters offer a cost-effective light distribution solution with high stability and reliability.
