What is ADSS optic fiber outdoor cable?
ADSS fiber optic outdoor cable, or All-Dielectric Self-Supporting cable, is a type of optical fiber cable designed to be strong enough to support itself between structures without needing a conductive metal support or messenger wire to use in outdoor.
ADSS fiber optic cable adopts the twisted structure, 250um fiber is inserted into the loose tube made of high modulus materials. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The gap of the cable core is filled with a water-blocking yarn and a water-blocking tape longitudinally wrapped by the cable core. After stranded layer of aramid yarn are applied as strength member, the cable is completed with PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
