- MPO-16 APC trunk cable is a high-density fiber optic cable used to link network panels over long distancesn with high transfer speed.
- MPO-16 APC MTP-16 APC Trunk Cables: use to link links multiple fibers between patch panels.
- They have MPO-16 APC MTP/APC connectors on both ends.
- The MPO/APC connector (MTP-16 APC connector) termination is 8 degree conner.
- It is Elite IL (Ultra Low Loss) or Standard IL.
- The trunk cable connection method have: Method A, Method B, Method C

Option 1: MPO-16 APC connector + mini cable SM G657A1 + MPO-16 APC connector

Polarity Method Type A, Type B, Type C
- Type A (Straight-Through): Fiber 1 on one end goes to Fiber 1 on the other, Fiber 2 to Fiber 2, and so on. It uses a "Key-Up to Key-Down" adapter. Because it maintains a straight-through path, it requires an opposite (pair-flipped) method somewhere else in the link (usually at the cassettes) to correctly swap Tx and Rx.
- Type B (Flipped/Reversed): The fiber array is entirely reversed. Fiber 1 at one end connects to Fiber 12 at the other, Fiber 2 to Fiber 11, and so forth. It uses "Key-Up to Key-Up" adapters.
- Type C (Pairwise Swapped): The fibers are swapped in adjacent pairs. Fiber 1 connects to Fiber 2, Fiber 3 to Fiber 4, etc. It uses "Key-Up to Key-Down" adapters. This type is primarily used for converting MPO to duplex LC systems.
