IP67 Waterproof Armored 24 Fiber MPO MTP Trunk Cable for Underground Duct

Water and rodents are the two failure modes that end an underground fiber run early, and a standard indoor cord loses on both. This 24 fiber assembly combines a corrugated steel tape armor with an HDPE outer jacket, giving the ribbon a barrier against chewing, crush and long term moisture diffusion. The connector end carries an IP67 sealed body, so a flooded handhole does not reach the end face even if the joint is submerged for a season. Because the fiber is G657A2, an IP67 waterproof armored MPO MTP trunk cable keeps loss flat through the tight bends of a duct entry chamber. Each trunk is air pressure tested at 0.2 MPa and then measured port by port before it is coiled onto a drum.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

Underground assemblies are built to order and tested twice: once at the connector with an air pressure leak test, and once end to end with insertion loss and return loss on every port. Our team has supplied armored and sealed trunk systems for metro, campus and utility projects since 2011, and the plant works to ISO 9001:2015 with steel tape lot traceability. An IP67 waterproof armored MPO MTP trunk cable longer than 200 m is drum coiled and shipped with a pulling eye fitted on request.

Assembly drawings, insertion loss records and end face images are available before shipment. Custom fiber counts, leg lengths, polarity and jacket colours are confirmed in writing before production.
