- Fiber Optic Splitter PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) is a passive optical power management component, used to split a single (or double) incoming fiber optic light beam into multiple output paths uniformly.
- 1x4 Fiber Optic Splitter PLC is a passive optical device used to uniformly divide one single mode fiber optic input into four identical outputs.
- It  is used to divide a single incoming optical signal into two identical, separate outputs. It is a foundational component in modern fiber-optic communication, designed to expand network reach without adding active, powered electronic components.
