Mr Henry ThaiKocent Optec Limited is our long-term partner. In more than 10 years of co-operation time, we together win many projects. Their fast connector and FTTH drop cable quality are best. Their products are cover around my country now. -
Mr PabloI was surprised when i made first order with Kocent Optec Limited in 2014. One container 40GP of GYXTW cable and one container 20GP for fast connector, patch cord and adapter. They finished this order in 2 weeks only. Now we also purchase many type of FDB box and Splice Closure Box from them. Hope we will be stronger and stronger in telecom field. -
Mr Thang NguyenKocent Optec Limited is one of our company longterm partner. We order 2 to 3 containers 40' from them each month. I agree that their outdoor cable, distribution box, splice enclosure and fiber optic accessories quality is very nice. Under their support, we win many telecom projects. Thank so much.

Armored 8 Fiber OM4 MPO MTP Patch Cord for Plant Floor Cable Tray
Plant floor cable tray routing punishes fiber links with forklift vibration, foot traffic and metal shavings, so a plain cord often fails inside a single production year. This armored 8 fiber MPO MTP patch cord wraps a stainless steel micro tube around the 8 core ribbon and then extrudes a 3.0 mm LSZH outer jacket, which allows 40G SR4 and 100G SR10 parallel optics to cross an aisle without extra conduit. The armor carries the crush load while the ribbon inside keeps its lane geometry, so insertion loss stays inside the 0.35 dB elite window run after run. Every armored MPO MTP patch cord is built on the same MT ferrule line that also produces our single mode trunk assemblies, which means polarity, fiber count and leg length are locked before the armor sleeve is applied.

Application Fit and Advantage Points
- Forklift and pallet jack traffic — the stainless steel armor absorbs point loads that crack ordinary jackets and shift the 8 fibers out of alignment.
- Machine shop debris — metal shavings and rodent pressure stop at the armor tube, so an armored MPO MTP patch cord survives exposed ladder rack runs.
- 40G and 100G parallel optics — an 8 fiber MPO MTP patch cord maps one to one onto SR4 and SR10 lane assignment with no rework at the switch end.
- Conduit free retrofits — the armored jacket is rated for direct tray and ladder rack mounting, which removes conduit cost from brownfield projects.
- Polarity kept consistent — Type A, Type B and Type C housings ship from stock, so an expansion phase reuses the existing bill of materials.
Buyer Questions on This Specification
Q: Can the armored MPO MTP patch cord be ordered with 12 or 24 fibers?
A: Yes. The armor tube is produced in 8, 12 and 24 fiber sizes, and the same assembly line keeps connector gender and polarity identical across the three variants.
Q: How is the armor terminated at the connector?
A: The tube is anchored inside both boots with a crimp ferrule and aramid yarn, so pulling force transfers to the armor rather than to the 8 fibers inside the ribbon.
Q: What happens if the jacket is cut on site?
A: The stainless steel layer still protects the ribbon, and the yellow outer jacket can be repaired with a wrap sleeve without disturbing the polished end faces.
Q: Is a test report included with each cord?
A: Yes. Each unit ships with per connector insertion loss and return loss data plus an end face image file, and the serial number on the label links back to that record.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
Every armored MPO MTP patch cord leaves the line with an interferometric end face scan, a per port insertion loss and return loss record, and a polarity check against the drawing. Our engineers have assembled multi fiber trunk and breakout solutions for data center and industrial cabling projects since 2011, and the plant works to ISO 9001:2015 with incoming inspection on every MT ferrule lot. If a project needs a mixed polarity shipment or a non standard leg length, the drawing is confirmed in writing before the armor tube is cut.
Assembly drawings, insertion loss records and end face images are available before shipment. Custom fiber counts, leg lengths, polarity and jacket colours are confirmed in writing before production.
