An outdoor FTTA cabinet sees driving rain, dust storms and temperature swings that push a standard connector far outside its sealing window, so water reaches the end face and return loss collapses. This IP67 waterproof MPO MTP patch cord uses a sealed connector body with a dual O ring gasket and a compression gland, giving the 12 fibers a barrier that holds through washdown and monsoon season. The G657A2 fiber keeps bending loss low inside a pole mounted enclosure, and the UV stabilized LSZH jacket does not chalk or crack after long sun exposure.
