Mr Henry ThaiKocent Optec Limited is our long-term partner. In more than 10 years of co-operation time, we together win many projects. Their fast connector and FTTH drop cable quality are best. Their products are cover around my country now. -
Mr PabloI was surprised when i made first order with Kocent Optec Limited in 2014. One container 40GP of GYXTW cable and one container 20GP for fast connector, patch cord and adapter. They finished this order in 2 weeks only. Now we also purchase many type of FDB box and Splice Closure Box from them. Hope we will be stronger and stronger in telecom field. -
Mr Thang NguyenKocent Optec Limited is one of our company longterm partner. We order 2 to 3 containers 40' from them each month. I agree that their outdoor cable, distribution box, splice enclosure and fiber optic accessories quality is very nice. Under their support, we win many telecom projects. Thank so much.

Aramid Yarn Tensile Strength 48 Fiber MPO MTP Trunk Cable with Pulling Eye
A pre terminated trunk that is dragged through 300 m of duct will fail at the connector unless the pull load goes somewhere other than the fiber and the ferrule. This 48 fiber assembly solves that with two features working together: aramid yarn laid the full length as the strength member, and a factory fitted pulling eye that grips the yarn rather than the connector body. The rated tensile strength of 1500 N covers a long duct pull with a normal pulling lubricant, and the 5.0 mm round LSZH jacket slides through a 32 mm conduit without snagging. Each aramid yarn MPO MTP trunk cable is fitted with a rip cord and a printed pull direction arrow, so the installer knows exactly which end enters the duct first.

Application Fit and Advantage Points
- Long duct and conduit pulls — a tensile strength rating of 1500 N lets one pull cover a 300 m run without an intermediate handhole.
- Underground pathways — the round LSZH jacket slides on a lubricated duct and resists abrasion against a concrete edge.
- Campus and metro links — 48 fibers in a single pull replace multiple small cables and shrink the civil work.
- Pre terminated delivery — connectors stay protected behind the pulling eye, so the aramid yarn MPO MTP trunk cable arrives ready to land instead of ready to splice.
- Clear pull direction — the printed arrow and rip cord remove the most common field mistake on a pre terminated trunk.
Buyer Questions on This Specification
Q: What load can the pulling eye take?
A: The factory fitted mesh grip is rated at 1500 N, which matches the aramid yarn tensile strength of the assembly, so the weak point is never the connector.
Q: Should the pulling eye be removed after installation?
A: Yes. The grip and the exposed yarn tail are cut back and finished with a heat shrink cap once the trunk is landed, and the offcut is recorded on the install sheet.
Q: Is a pulling lubricant required?
A: For runs beyond 100 m we recommend a compatible water based lubricant. The LSZH jacket is resistant to standard pulling compounds and to pH neutral duct cleaners.
Q: Can the trunk be supplied with a breakout tail at one end?
A: Yes. A hybrid build with a 48 fiber pulling eye trunk and LC breakout legs at the far end is available, and the leg length is confirmed on a drawing before production.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
Pull testing is destructive, so we qualify a prototype and then control the build: yarn count, grip crimp pressure and jacket adhesion are all logged against the serial number of each aramid yarn MPO MTP trunk cable. Our team has delivered pre terminated trunks for campus and metro duct projects since 2011, and the plant tests to IEC 60794-1-2 method E1 with the tensile result attached to the shipping documents. Long length orders are coiled on a wooden drum and labeled with pull direction and length.
Assembly drawings, insertion loss records and end face images are available before shipment. Custom fiber counts, leg lengths, polarity and jacket colours are confirmed in writing before production.
