1. What is GYTA fiber optic cable?

  • A SMF 9/125 G657 72fibers GYTA Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable is an outdoor armored fiber optic cable that uses bend-insensitive G657A single-mode fibers inside a Aluminum Tape and PE outer sheath. 
  • It is designed for outdoor duct, direct burial, pipeline and aerial installations.
  • It is used in long-distance telecommunications, local area networks (LAN), and backbone inter-building connections requiring moisture and crush resistance
  • The cable capacity upto 288 fibers.
  • The name GYTA uses a standard industry code that describes how the cable is built: 
GY: Outdoor communications cable (general use for duct, underground, pipeline).
TA: Aluminum-polyethylene tape (APL) armored with a PE outer sheath, offering moisture resistance and crush protection.
Loose Tube Design: Fibers sit inside gel-filled plastic tubes twisted around a central metallic strength member to protect against water and stress.
