1. What is GYTA fiber optic cable?

  • MMF OM4 50/125 GYTA Loose Tube Armored Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable is an outdoor, aluminum armored fiber optic cable that uses OM4 laser-optimized multimode fiber (50/125µm), designed for high-speed duct, direct burial or aerial installations.
  • GYTA cable is a type of fiber optic cable in stranded loose tube fiber optic cable with compact structure, and the cable jacket is made of strong Polyethylene. High strength loose tube has hydrolysis resistant. Cable filling materials ensure high reliability, and APL makes the cable crush resistant and moisture proof. 
  • The cable capacity upto 96 fibers.
  • The name GYTA uses a standard industry code that describes how the cable is built: 
GY: Outdoor communications cable (general use for duct, underground, pipeline).
TA: Aluminum-polyethylene tape (APL) armored with a PE outer sheath, offering moisture resistance and crush protection.
Loose Tube Design: Fibers sit inside gel-filled plastic tubes twisted around a central metallic strength member to protect against water and stress.
